Meet Fiona Gaudio
Education and Credentials
Fiona has received her bachelor’s degree in Clinical/Community Psychology from the
University of Illinois Urbana, Champaign. She is enrolled in Loyola’s graduate program to
obtain her Master of Social Work degree with a tentative graduation date of May 2025.
Approach:
Fiona’s goal as a counselor is grounded in a person-centered framework that prioritizes empowerment, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. She creates an environment of unconditional positive regard by offering her clients a safe and supportive space to foster healing, growth, and goal setting. She incorporates mindfulness into her practice to guide clients in increasing their awareness of patterns and identifying their needs.
Target Population:
Fiona works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults.
Types of Therapy Used:
Fiona uses a variety of therapeutic approaches that best support the client. This includes person-centered approaches and utilizing mindfulness and art in her sessions when appropriate.
Issues Addressed:
Fiona is currently providing services to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, burnout, adjustment difficulties, and more.
