Meet Meghan Penwitt
Credentials and Education
Meghan attended Purdue University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with emphasis in Forensic Psychology and her Master of Science in Psychology with concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Meghan also attended Messiah University where she earned a certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Approach:
Meghan enjoys helping others while using strength-based approaches and integrating various treatment therapies to best meet the needs and goals of her clients. Meghan aims to empower her clients to create space, balance, time, and strength to process and embrace their needs.
Target Population:
Meghan has experience treating clients of all ages, but is most experienced working with clients 18 years of age and older.
Types of Therapy Used:
CBT, DBT, psychoanalysis, humanistic therapy, integrative/holistic therapy,person-centered therapy and exposure therapy.
Issues Addressed:
Anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, PTSD, relationships, Bipolar 1 & 2, Borderline Personality Disorder, Axis II (personality disorders and intellectual developmental disorders), behavioral related issues (OCD, ADD/ADHD, ODD).
